Note: The username/password you selected are case sensitive and need to be entered exactly as entered during registration
SETTING UP THE VPN:
- Choose "Settings" from Main Screen.
- Choose "General"
- Choose "Network"
- Choose "VPN"
- Choose "Add VPN Configuration"
- Choose "PPTP"
- Description: WiTopia PPTP (or whatever you want to call it)
- Server: pptp.witopia.net
- Account: "your WiTopia username"@witopia
- EXAMPLE: stevejobs@witopia
- RSA SecurID: OFF
- Password: Your WiTopia Password
- Encryption Level: We recommend "Auto" BUT have seen where selecting "Maximum" was necessary.
- Send all traffic: ON
- Save these settings and connect.
TO CONNECT THEREAFTER:
- Choose "Settings" from Home screen.
- Switch VPN to "ON".
TO CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT SERVER LOCATION:
The above server address (pptp.witopia.net) is the default address that will randomly route you to a gateway location. For fastest connection, it is usually best to configure it to connect to the VPN gateway closest to where you are. Simply add the 3 letter airport code to your server address field on your device and save and it will always connect there until you change it.
For example, MAD is the airport code for Madrid, Spain. To connect through the Madrid, Spain VPN gateway you would simply change the server address in your device's PPTP VPN software as follows:

New: pptp.mad.witopia.net
