We'll write a more formal article at some point, but the below seems to work on Windows Mobile 6.1.4 and later. Feel free to send feedback to support@witopia.net
Description: (whatever you like)
VPN Type: PPTP
Server: pptp.witopia.net
Connects from: (predefined networks of the smartphone, e.g. "The Internet")
Connects to: (predefined networks of the smartphone, e.g. "The Internet")
User name: (your WiTopia username you chose during activation...remember to add the "@witopia)
Password: (your WiTopia password)
Domain: (leave blank)
  • IPSec authentication: PSK or Certificate (we don't use IPSec so leave this alone)
  • IPSec Pre-shared Key: (this isn't our IPSec service, so leave this one alone)
TO CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT SERVER LOCATION:

The above server address (pptp.witopia.net) is the default address that will randomly route you to a gateway location. For fastest connection, it is usually best to configure it to connect to the VPN gateway closest to where you are. Simply add the 3 letter airport code to your server address field on your device and save and it will always connect there until you change it.

For example, MAD is the airport code for Madrid, Spain. To connect through the Madrid, Spain VPN gateway you would simply change the server address in your device's PPTP VPN software as follows:
