Your CloakBox™ has many powerful features, some of which are:

  • Four Ethernet Ports for connecting your non-wireless computers and VoIP ATA/Routers.
  • Built-in VPN capability that encrypts all your connected devices’ Internet-bound data and VoIP traffic to and from WiTopia’s Secure Internet Gateways.

To log into your Cloakbox™, first you must have a computer plugged into port 1, 2, 3, or 4 and then enter the IP address contained in your welcome letter (e.g. http://192.168.20.1) into your web browser as well as the Username and Password listed in the email. The default Username for all new Cloakboxes™ is "admin" without the quotes. The default Password is your WiTopia account number which is on a label on the top of your Cloakbox™.

Below we have two sets of instructions; one for dd-wrt users and another for TomatoVPN users, each appropriately labeled.

While we do configure the Cloakbox™ to support wireless, for security reasons we disable it by default. To enable wireless follow one of these links below:
dd-wrt TomatoVPN
To configure your Cloakbox™ to connect using one of our alternate port servers, click on one of these links:
dd-wrt TomatoVPN
To change or force which WiTopia Secure Internet Gateway your Cloakbox™ connects to, select one of the following:
dd-wrt TomatoVPN
To renew your Cloakbox™ service, choose one of these:

Finally, as we mention in several locations, please DO NOT PRESS THE RESET BUTTON ON THE CLOAKBOX™ unless instructed to do so by WiTopia support staff.
